Why isn't the film I wanted to see playing at the theatre?

There are many factors that go into what movies play at your local movie theatre.  First and foremost is print availability.  Certain films have a limited numbers of prints available.  When this happens, prints go to theatres with significant population and will filter down to smaller markets as these prints become available.
